Bali Bangli Kintamani

Bali Bangli Kintamani

Bali is famous for its touristic appeal … but its coffee is fantastic as well. Bangli Kintamani is ‘wet-hulled’ coffee, which is unique. Wet-hulling means the farmer runs the bean through a hand-crank drum with a surface like a cheese grater that peels off the skin of the fruit. The result is a full bodied, with mild acidity, and rustic sweet undertones. And like Sumatra, our dark roasting produces an espresso-worthy bean.

Our roast is cooked apple and rhubarb scented. Layers of rich dark chocolate are intertwined with subtle fruit, herbal, and earthy accents.

This coffee is part of the 'Farm Gate' program from our friends at The Coffee Shrub, which means they have negotiated directly with the farmer, and guarantee prices that are at least 50%, and often more than 100%, over fair trade.
