Brazil Dry Process Santa Luzia Peaberry

Brazil Dry Process Santa Luzia Peaberry

Fazenda Santa Lucia is located in the growing-region of Campos Altos, and sits at 1000 meters, much higher than the average altitude of the Cerrado region. Much of the coffee from this farm is still manually picked, as is situated on a slope. This particular coffee is naturally processed, meaning the whole cherry is picked from the tree and then laid out to dry for roughly 30 days, and this lot is one of two peaberry separations our partners at Sweet Maria’s procured from Fazenda Santa Luzia this year. Our roast is a Medium Body, Nutty and Sweet, with Dried Fruit in the background.

This coffee is part of the 'Farm Gate' program from our friends at The Coffee Shrub, which means they have negotiated directly with the farmer, and guarantee prices that are at least 50%, and often more than 100%, over fair trade.
