This offering comes from small farm lots within the Guji zone of Yirga Cheffe.  This selection is dry processed, which means the coffee cherry has been harvested and laid to dry ~30 days before being processed.  Coffee farming is an essential part of the culture for the Gujii Oromo people, as they are known, and they produce some of the better dry-processed coffees in the region at their Sidama Station.  Our roast is a medium body, with blueberries and chocolate up-front, with a clean finish.

This coffee is part of the 'Farm Gate' program from our friends at The Coffee Shrub, which means they have negotiated directly with the farmer, and guarantee prices that are at least 50%, and often more than 100%, over fair trade.
